This post is all about labor day treats you can make in your dorm room.
It’s almost Labor Day! Which means Labor day treats! Can you believe how fast this year is going? I know for some it seems like a lifetime but it’s September already.
Labor Day in my neck of the woods means BBQ, good drinks, and good people.
For those of you in college on campus I’m pretty sure they frown upon you bringing your charcoal grill to school.
But I guarantee you somewhere in the world an on-campus student has tried it!

So, if you want to have a small Labor Day celebration in your dorm this year—while practicing social distancing of course. These treats will definitely get the party lit.
This post is all about celebrating Labor Day in college.
1. American Flag Rice Krispies
These extremely cute American flag rice krispies will be a big hit. You will probably need more marshmallows than you thought.
With social distancing in mind you can bag these little treats up in plastic baggies and hand them out on campus as conversation starters. You’ll make a ton of new friends but you’ll also be known as the rice krispies girl! Which is okay with me.
2. Red, White, and Blue Jello Shots
I’m not encouraging you to put any form of alcohol in these if you are underage! But, for those of you that are of age. PUT ALCOHOL IN THEM!
These are so festive and delicious for any party. Rep that red, white, and blue.
3. Patriotic Cupcake Cones-Perfect Labor Day Treat
These are super simple to make. All you need to do is mix up cake mix with some food coloring and put it in a cone. Use the common area kitchen in the dorm and you’ll have everyone’s noses following that wonderful smell.
4. Labor Day Ice Cream Sandwich
I know your parents told you not to play with your food. But, dressing up an ice cream sandwich with sprinkles is the cutest. This would be a good idea no matter the occasion.
5. Old Fashion Bomb Pops
It’s fun to get creative and festive and make things that look cute for people.
However, if all else fails just go to Wal-Mart or Publix and buy you some bomb pops sis! Nobody will judge you and if you share with people you’ll be the most popular girl on campus on a hot day!
